The Firm's principal lawyer, Mazen M. Sukkar, is a Florida
Bar Board Certified expert in immigration law. Being certified

has written many articles on Immigration laws and has
lectured in Florida, nationally and internationally on
immigration laws. In recognition of the

M. Sukkar |

Mr. Sukkar holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University.
He graduated with honors "Cum Laude" and has been active in the legal
community since. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar
Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He
served as president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, South
Florida Chapter, and is a permanent member of its Board of Directors. He
also served as a Board Member of the Board of Governors of AILA nationally.
Mr. Sukkar is admitted to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal
District Court for the Southern District of Florida and is a member of the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Sukkar has written many
articles for The Florida Bar and is a major coordinator of three of its most
successful Continuing Legal Education Seminars for immigration lawyers. He
has also written and lectured for AILA at its national seminars.
Mr. Sukkar worked on many committees for AILA and has liaised with the
Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and the Executive Office for
Immigration Review (EOIR) extensively and successfully for the benefit of
members and clients.

Arevalo |

| Attorney Arevalo is a partner of the firm. Ms. Arevlao initially
worked with the firm on 1990-1995. She received her Bachelor of
Science degree in Political Sciences in 1993 from Florida International
University in Miami, Florida and her Juris Doctor degree in 1998 from
Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
Ms. Arevalo has extensive experience in all areas of immigration law,
including employment based non-immigrant and immigrant visas. Previously,
Ms. Arevalo was the Manager of the Visa and Immigration Desk at Ernst &
Young LLP in New Jersey where she was responsible for obtaining work visas and
residency for its foreign national employees.
Ms. Arevalo is admitted to the Florida and New Jersey Bars where she is
a member in excellent standing. She is a member of the American Immigration
Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Palm Beach Bar
Association, the Hispanic Bar Association, and the Florida Women's Lawyers'
Association. |
